When the sun sets the fun starts in the Roaring Fork Valley. The local nightlife centers around Aspen’s venues and night clubs. The premier club in the Valley is the Belly Up in Aspen. The Belly Up has performers of all musical genres and tastes come through every month. From B.B. King, to DJ Z-Trip, if you want loud music and an exciting dance floor the Belly Up is it. If you want a more typical club experience Snowmass is home to the Blue Door, which like the name has a large Blue Door at the entrance. Playing a mix of hip hop and dance, it’s a night owls paradise. Many restraints are also open to 11 o’clock and the Pubs and Bars go till 2. Whether it be dancing or dining, the night is just the beginning of what the Valley has to offer.

The first Belly Up Tavern began in 1974 in a small surf town just north of San Diego. Within a few years The Belly Up became one of San Diego's premier clubs and was voted San Diego's "Best Live Music Venue" year after year including 2004. The locals consider it the place to party after a day in the surf. In 2005, Steve Goldberg owner of the Belly Up in San Diego, teamed up with his brother Michael and opened up the Belly Up Aspen; a new place to party after a day on the slopes. Whether you are skiing powder, banging moguls or just taking in the sights, you may find yourself at the end of the day bellying up to great music, great drinks and socializing at the Belly Up Aspen.
