Casual Dining

If a burger and fries is what you’re looking for instead of the filet mignon you can easily find a local eatery that fits that bill. One of the best kept secrets in the Valley is the Woody Creek Tavern. A unique place to grab a bite, it was once the local watering hole for Hunter S. Thompson and is an attraction all in itself. Basalt is home to some great “get in, get out” dining as well. Timbo’s Pizza is a local’s favorite with great pizza and sub sandwiches. If you want the real “fast food” Glenwood has everything from Arby’s to Qdoba’s Mexican Grill. One thing is for sure, if it’s a quick bite you’re looking for or on a budget you still can find a great meal in the Valley.
